Though I grew up in Glasgow, Donegal has always felt like home. Both of my parents were born here, and I spent every summer of my childhood exploring these stunning landscapes. Those summers shaped my love for this place, and they’re the reason I started Dunlewey Kayaking.

When I’m not guiding tours, you’ll often find me hiking in the surrounding mountains with my loyal collie by my side, soaking in the views that I’ve cherished since I was a kid. It’s this deep connection to the land that I bring to every tour. I started this company because I wanted to give others the chance to experience Donegal the way I have—up close, from the water, and with a deep appreciation for its natural beauty and rich history.
